The Vectorworks PDFs look a little bit better on screen than the ACAD PDFs. I've got some PDFs of drawings made in Vectorworks, and they print properly, so I think it might be an ACAD problem. It is bad both directly from ACAD and from PDFs created in ACAD. ![]() T he drawings print badly at full scale and worse at half scale. I'm drawing plans, elevations and sections at 1:50 on A1, and generally printing at half the scale - 1:100 on A3. The print looks like a raster rather than a vector drawing. Print quality will vary along a line for no apparent reason. My print quality is very poor and I can't work out why. Our networked printer - kyocera 2560 - black & white laser printer
